8.7.- FLÜSSIGKEITSMASCHINEN

Ein spezieller Anwendungsbereich im Bereich Fluid Mechanik ist für die Untersuchung von Fluid Maschinen zuständig. Fluidmaschinen sind Vorrichtungen, die die Energie des Fluids, das sie durchläuft, umwandeln oder Energie auf das Fluid übertragen. Dieses Fluid kann Gas, Dampf oder Flüssigkeit sein.

Ausgehend von dieser Definition lassen sich Strömungsmaschinen wie folgt klassifizieren:

  • Kraft erzeugend Maschinen:
  • Turbinen: Drehmoment und Leistung werden in der Welle als Ergebnis der Variation der Bewegungsmenge des durch sie hindurchströmenden Fluids bereitgestellt.
  • Windräder: die kinetische Energie des Windes wird in mechanische Energie umgewandelt.
  • Kraft verbrauchend Maschine:
  • Pumpen: der Flüssigkeit wird mechanische Energie in Form von Arbeit zugeführt, um den Druckabfall zu ersetzen, den die Flüssigkeiten aufgrund der Reibung in den Leitungen erleiden.
  • Ventilatoren: Durch den erzeugten Druckanstieg werden große Gasmengen bewegt. Es gibt zwei Grundtypen von Ventilatoren: den Gebläse oder Zentrifugal Ventilator und den Axialfluss Ventilator.
  • Kompressoren: im Vergleich zu den Ventilatoren wird ein geringerer Volumenstrom bewegt, aber der Druckanstieg ist viel höher.

Maschinen werden seit der Antike mit dem Ziel konstruiert, die von der Natur bereitgestellte Energie zu nutzen. So ist beispielsweise die Umwandlung von mechanischer Energie in hydraulische Energie durch Maschinen für die meisten Ingenieure und Techniker von großem Interesse. Einige klassische hydraulische Maschinen sind das römische Wasserrad oder die hydraulische Presse. Gegenwärtig sind wir in unserem täglichen Leben von Strömungsmaschinen umgeben. Einige Beispiele sind die Flugzeuge Triebwerke, der Kreislauf Pumpen in Schwimmbädern oder Autos, die Windmühlen, die Kühler Ventilatoren in Computern oder die zu Hause verwendeten Ventilatoren.
