Setting up at Perenco in Gabon
Today we want to talk to you about the latest installation we have done at Perenco in Gabon
We moved there to install the following units from our Fluid Mechanics area:
The Unit to Study a Ball Valve Cutaway Model (BVCM)that allows the students to visualize the inner parts of a ball valve, to evaluate the relation with each other accurately and to understand their function.
The Fluid Friction in Pipes Unit (AFT/P)that was designed to determine the friction coefficient in pipes of several diameters and roughness, to study the pressure losses in different types of valves and different fittings and to compare different methods to measure the flow.
The Computer Controlled Horizontal Three-phase Separator (HTSC)that allows the study of the main characteristics of gravity separation and the effect of viscosity, flow and density difference in this separation.
The Computer Controlled Vertical Three-phase Separator (VTSC), that allows the study of the main characteristics of gravity separation and the effect of viscosity, flow and density difference in this separation.
The Basic Unit of Mechanical Drive Systems (MDSU), that consists of a main frame where a series of accessories and elements are arranged, distributed in modules of different level, thought to introduce the user in the field of mechanical systems and their components.
