General Description
The Motors, Generators and Transformers Construction Application, "AEL-MGTC" has been designed by EDIBON for theoretical and practical training in the field of electromechanical construction of electrical machines such as DC motors, AC motors, single-phase and three-phase transformers.
This application offers various levels of training that will provide the user with essential knowledge and skills on the fundamental principles of the construction and commissioning of electric machines. For this purpose, this application includes a specific manual explaining the design, manufacture, construction and winding of electric motors, generators and transformers. A manual winding machine and different sizes of copper wire are included to perform winding practices on the motors and transformers acquired. The Manual Winding Machine for Motors and Transformers, "MWMT", has several molds for the construction of windings with different sizes. Once the windings have been constructed, the user will proceed to place them in the corresponding electrical machines and verify their operation.
This application provides a variable power supply, a multimeter for the verification of the electrical parameters of the machines, copper wire coils of different sizes and a toolbox for the assembly and construction of the acquired machines. In addition, a compass is provided for the verification of the proper functioning of the magnetic fields after the assembly of the windings. In this way, the user will be involved from the beginning in the design of the electrical machine, from the manufacturing of the windings to its final commissioning.
