General Description
The Pulse Modulations Unit, "EMDA/P," has been designed by EDIBON to explain the fundamental concepts of pulse modulation in its entirety. It encompasses the principles of many modulation and demodulation techniques used in modern communication systems.
The unit provides a basic understanding of the concepts behind pulse communications techniques: Pulse Code Modulation (PCM), Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM), Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), Pulse Density Modulation (PDM), Pulse Position Modulation (PPM). Finally, it allows students to study the basic principles of Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) and Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM) are introduced.
