MODUL LAYANAN

Layanan tambahan di laboratorium atau industri didefinisikan sebagai pasokan yang diperlukan untuk berfungsinya peralatan dengan baik. Layanan tambahan yang paling umum meliputi: pasokan panas dan dingin, energi listrik, air proses dan pendingin, uap, dan udara terkompresi.

Masing-masing layanan ini menjadi penting tergantung pada aktivitas yang akan dilakukan, misalnya, suplai listrik untuk menggerakkan motor atau mengaktifkan resistor, suplai panas atau dingin untuk mengontrol suhu, atau udara terkompresi untuk mengontrol katup pneumatik.

Panas proses yang dibutuhkan dapat disuplai melalui uap atau cairan perpindahan panas (air atau minyak) dan dihasilkan oleh peralatan listrik (resistor) atau ketel yang membakar bahan bakar. Dingin dihasilkan melalui siklus pendinginan dengan memanfaatkan panas yang diserap dalam proses penguapan refrigeran. Dan udara terkompresi dapat diperoleh dari tabung yang menyimpan gas bertekanan sangat tinggi atau dengan menggunakan kompresor.

Sektor ilmiah dari peralatan laboratorium tidak mungkin ada tanpa layanan tambahan ini yang diperlukan untuk melaksanakan aktivitas laboratorium dengan baik.
