現代社会のニーズは、それに適応するために進化と改修を続けていかなければならないため、どの業界にとっても課題となっています。

近年、新しい産業革命や「インダストリー4.0」、「モノのインターネット」(IIoT)や「スマートファクトリー」の出現により、既存のものを改修する際の新しい設備の設計における最も洗練された技術の応用により、これらのニーズに対応することが可能になりました。

これらすべての技術的進歩と徹底した管理にもかかわらず、生産プロセスに関わるすべての要素が機械的・電気的な摩耗(努力、負荷など)を受け、その耐用年数が限られていることを忘れてはなりません。致命的な故障、生産停止、または非生産的な時間の増加を意味するあらゆる種類のプロセスを避けるために、機械、電気システムなどの良好なメンテナンスを実施することが非常に重要です。
