The Computer Controlled Biomedical Auditory Diagnostic Teaching Unit, "BIADC", allows the students to analyse the audiograms corresponding to individuals with different audition levels, in order to diagnose possible hearing impairments.
The Computer Controlled Biomedical Auditory Diagnostic Teaching Unit, "BIADC", includes:
- Audiometer: Real device used to perform the audiometry test and analyse its results.
- Ear simulator: Imitates the auditory function.
This Computer Controlled Unit is supplied with the EDIBON Computer Control System (SCADA), and includes: The unit itself + a Control Interface Box + a Data Acquisition Board + Computer Control, Data Acquisition and Data Management Software Packages, for controlling the process and all parameters involved in the process.
