任何电子设备的开发最具有特色的阶段是:确定设备规格,设计设备所需的不同电子电路(电源电路、控制电路、电源电路、信号滤波电路、振荡器电路、电源电路与信号电路之间的隔离电路、模拟信号调理电路、放大器电路、编码器或解码器电路等。),计算各电路所带元件的特性,模拟仪器电子电路的运行,对不同的电路分别进行测试,研制产品的样机,最后制造出最终产品。

电子电路的测试开发和原型设计阶段是电子电路设计或再设计的关键步骤之一。

在过去,这些测试是通过在原始PCB上组装和焊接元件来进行的,但由于元件的标准化以及带孔的测试板或Protoboard的出现,电路原型可以在不焊接的情况下制作,这大大方便了待测电路的构建。
